A perfect breaky option or an arvo pick-me-up drink. It’s also great post training sesh.
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 1 serving natural vanilla protein powder-whey/rice/pea protein.
- 1/4 cup frozen berries
- 1 tbsp. goji berries (if you can)
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1-2 tsp. stevia
- 1 tbsp. greek yoghurt
- 1 tbsp. ricotta cheese/cottage cheese
- 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
- 1-2 cups of ice
- 1 cup milk/filtered water ( I use 1/2 almond milk, 1/2 water)
Method
- Blend the above ingredients in a blender- Vitamix is the best!
- I top the smoothie with some extra berries, a dollop of greek yoghurt, more lemon zest and coconut chips.
